Scholarships and Financial Aid

The Cost of Education

Christ the King students receive a solid Catholic education that is a proven value. Tuition is charged to cover a significant portion of the cost of this education. The State of Ohio, general parish funds, and other fundraising activities are budgeted to cover the costs that are not covered by tuition and fees.

Families have the option to prepay tuition with a check / money order or pay monthly on FACTS Tuition.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarship

For the 2025-2026 school year, all students who reside in Ohio (grades K-12) are eligible for a scholarship.

There are two versions of the EdChoice Scholarship:

  1. Traditional EdChoice – This scholarship is awarded to families whose home residence is attached to an “underperforming” public school. School lists are updated each year.
    2. EdChoice Expansion – This scholarship is dependent on a family’s total household income.

CK Financial Aid

As Roman Catholics, and parishioners of Christ the King, we believe the demonstration of our commitment to our faith is shown through our offerings of time, talent, and treasure for our parish community at large. K-8 Families are able to apply for financial assistance with CK Financial Aid. If requesting financial aid, please contact Mary Beth Rossler.

The Mustard Seed Education Foundation Scholarship – These scholarships are intended for families not eligible for EdChoice scholarships. The Mustard Seed Foundation’s mission is to help committed Catholic families achieve the dream of sending their children to a Catholic grade school. Three different scholarships are offered (two of them are renewable). You may find more information and apply at mustardseededucation.org

Scrip Program – Would you like to save money on your tuition? Area retailers offer rebates to non-profit organizations when you purchase their gift cards. Visit www.raiseright.com or download the RaiseRight app for more information and a list of participants. 80% of earnings will be retained by the family for credit to your tuition account; 20% will be retained by Christ the King Parish.
